MMA classes are available on Sundays, Mondays, and Thursdays.
Because of the discipline and self-control required to train in mixed martial arts, the MMA Program is recommended for people over the age of 12.
Our MMA Program incorporates different styles of martial arts along with some cardio and light weight training. Kyokushin, also known as “hard training”, is the main style of karate used. Kyokushin pushes the body beyond its limits and the techniques demand precision. By having a high level of discipline, you will become more focused on and off the mat.
Judo, “gentle way”, is another martial arts style that is used. It focuses on taking down an opponent. Speed and strength become a must in order to learn to take the opponent down.
Jiu-Jitsu or grappling works while fighting on the ground. You will learn to use your body to pin an opponent down and will practice on several different submission moves.
Our instructor breaks down each technique so it is easy to learn and you are able to use it properly. Whether you are a novice or seasoned expert, there is always more to learn and practice.
